Akash Bhatnagar
Chairman & Founder
A decorated athlete with over a decade of professional sports experience, Akash has represented India in elite tournaments like the Subroto Cup, Indian League U18, and PLI. He holds 5 Indian and 3 Asian records in football juggling and has been honored as a Grandmaster by the Asia Book of Records. Passionate about youth development, he founded the Sports Army Foundation to uplift underprivileged sports talent across India. He completed his B.Sc. in Sports Sciences from the University of Delhi, where he served as the Vice President of his college and Media President of the entire university. Later, during his B.P.Ed., he was nominated for the University Gold Medal, securing the second-highest score in the program.
Jatin Sharma
Program Director (Sports Development)
A graduate of the University of Delhi, Jatin brings a strong academic background combined with deep experience in competitive sports. He has professionally represented in numerous prestigious table tennis championships, including Federation level and University tournaments. Jatin is also a Level 1 Certified Coach by the Table Tennis Federation of India, further enriching his practical and technical expertise in the sport. With a solid understanding of the sports ecosystem and a strong network across Delhi’s sports community, he plays a crucial role in leading the direction of our programs. His strategic planning and hands on involvement ensure the smooth execution of ongoing projects while actively shaping upcoming events and initiatives.
Sunny Bhatnagar
Treasurer
Sunny Bhatnagar is a multi-talented sportsman and the financial backbone of the Foundation. In his early childhood, he proudly represented India in Jeet Kune-Do. He later transitioned into football and played at a highly competitive level. A graduate of Delhi University, Sunny holds a Master’s degree in Physical Education, and currently serves as a Physical Education Teacher at a reputed school in Delhi. His deep understanding of sports and education brings immense value to the Foundation’s mission.
Ankit Kumar Arya
Joint Secretary
Ankit Kumar Arya is a former professional Long Jumper, Ankit has represented at numerous national-level championships, showcasing dedication, discipline, and a deep understanding of competitive sports. A graduate from one of Asia’s premier Physical Education colleges under the University of Delhi, With a strong foundation in sports science and management, Ankit brings both knowledge and experience to the table. Ankit currently serves as a Physical Education teacher at a prestigious school in Delhi.
Hemansh Shokeen
Marketing Head
Hemansh Shokeen is one of the founding pillars of the SPORTS ARMY FOUNDATION (SAF), bringing dynamic energy and expertise to our marketing and advertising efforts. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Sciences from the prestigious University of Delhi, which laid the foundation for his deep understanding of sports dynamics. Further enhancing his professional profile, he pursued a degree in Business Administration from York University, Canada, and also earned a certification in Digital Marketing from the same institution. Currently based in Toronto, Hemansh is associated with Canom Advisory, where he continues to expand his experience in the corporate marketing sector.
Kinshuk Shokeen
Legal Advisor
Kinshuk Shokeen is the Official Legal Advisor of SPORTS ARMY FOUNDATION, expertly managing all legal matters with precision and professionalism. A law graduate with a strong passion for sports, he transitioned from legal studies into the sports sector, combining his expertise with his personal interest. His deep understanding of sports law, contracts, and policy ensures smooth and ethical functioning of the organization. Kinshuk’s dedication, sharp thinking, and sports oriented mindset make him an integral part of the foundation. He plays a key role in building a legally strong, transparent, and progressive path for SPORTS ARMY FOUNDATION’s ongoing growth and impact.
